Garey L. Lewis
THE MAGNATE

Dr. Garey L. Lewis is an established academician, leadership coach, musician, published author and educational consultant with over twenty-five years of educational experience. He serves as founder and CEO of Lewis Educational Consulting Services, where he advises and directs other educational leaders in the development, implementation and evaluation of K-12 school charter/community school programs, churches businesses, and personal development.
 

Dr. Lewis is the former Superintendent of Schools for the FCI Academy School
District (Columbus, Ohio), Administrative Principal for the WC Handy Middle
School for The Performing Arts (Columbus, Ohio), Principal for the Dayton Urban Academy (Dayton, Ohio), Dean of Music Education for the World Harvest Bible College (Columbus, Ohio) and Principal for the William C. Abney Academy (Grand Rapids, Michigan). He is the CEO of The Academy of Christian Music Education and serves as National Minister of Music for Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies Worldwide.


Affectionately known as “Professor Lewis”, Garey is a lifelong learner and has
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Science Degree: Music Education (Central State
University; a Bachelor of Theology Degree: Group and Personal Counseling (Christ Life School of Theology); Masters of Education Degree (University of Dayton; Executive Education Certification: Strategic Management of School Leaders and Specialized Schools (Harvard University) and holds a Doctorate of Leadership Studies from (Ashland University).

THE MAestro

Organist. Pianist. Workshop Instructor. Only a small description of the music arsenal Garey possesses. Melodically and charismatically are the paint brushes that he uses to convey musical masterpieces. Not only does he produce ear pleasing sounds, he doesn’t fail to teach others to do the same. He is the CEO of The Academy of Christian Music Education and serves as National Minister of Music for Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies Worldwide. Within each of these entities, he trains and molds others, while creating succession and building a legacy.

 

As a worldwide, highly regarded and accomplished musician and director, Garey purposefully blazes trails for up and coming artists. Whether producing (vocal and instrumental), writing, accompanying, or teaching, everyone under his tutelage is propelled into new musical dimensions. Numerous artists have called on his musical genius for many years and it continue to do so. In an ever changing industry, Garey is unmoved in wisdom, yet always open to merge anything new and relevant that promotes maximum growth and potential in all who encounter him.

THE MAn

Garey is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc., and serves as Vice President of the Night Strikers Motorcycle Club. He also supplies his expertise on several boards of directors locally and nationally. Although Garey serves in many organizations, he believes that servanthood is a classroom that should never be empty. As he lends himself to many, he uses each opportunity to learn from the company he keeps. Never meeting a stranger and always willing to share his professional knowledge and personal life experience, Garey is a mentor to many across the country.
